MIR BRUSHES

MIR offers the painter an ample range in paintbrushes. The variety of sizes, shapes and bristles available, allows artist to undertake any painting technique they wish.

All bristles have been classified according to their quality and length before being boiled and straightened. Only bristle with the original natural tufts are used in our brushes.

Smooth and docile. Very useful for working with tempera and water colors.

Made with our latest man-made "Oron" synthetic sable. Excellent snap like that the traditional pure sable.

The hair material used in these brushes is a combination of synthetic and natural hair and stimulates the performance of pure mongoose hair, giving plenty of spring and a fine square sharp edge in the flats.

Our best hair. Each brush is hand made and individually tested to ensure the highest possible standars.

First class selected Pure Sable, possessing plenty of strength and spring. In the smaller sizes being most suitable for photografic retouching, spotting and other fine detail work.

Very suitable for acrylic and oil painting. These brushes are made with the latest filaments. These brushes have great strength and durability and alternative to the traditional hog brushes.

Oil paintings should be cleaned with solvent and watercolours and acrylic paints with water. The solvent then be removed with soapy water. Do not leave brushes permanently in water. Do not leave the brushes resting on their tips.
